    Candidates are eligible for admission by satisfying the following admissions criteria:
    • A bachelor’s / Undergraduate degree or minimum 3 years of working experience after senior secondary education.

    • Submission and evaluation of graduate school applications including; undergraduate academic transcripts, ID or passport copy, and resume.

    • Applicants for the PGDHM program are exempted from an English exam provided they completed their schooling years and/or bachelor’s program at a recognized school where the medium of teaching is English.

    The Curriculum


    The Postgraduate Diploma in Hotel Management program consists of 10 core courses and one three-month internship training in Switzerland or abroad. It is mandatory to submit a final project/thesis to get the graduation done, which will count as 20 credits. All courses are worth 4 credits and are assessed by exam, assignment, or a combination of the two. 60 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) credits are awarded to students who obtain the Postgraduate Diploma in Hotel Management.

    • Introduction to the Hospitality Industry

    • Culinary Arts & Food Production

      To develop a complete knowledge of professional cuisine in hotel and catering industries.     • Operation of the Front Desk

    • Hospitality Accounting Fundamentals

      This course outlines bookkeeping essential for anyone in the hospitality industry, which includes hotels, restaurants, spas and similar businesses. It familiarizes the accountant with the basic concepts and discusses the various types of financial and accounting matters necessary for their construction. Detailed accounting topics include payroll, fixed assets, and accounts payable. There are also many accounting management topics, such as building budgets, pricing systems, cost analysis, and financial management. In short, the system prepares the accountant for all accounting issues that may arise in the hospitality industry.

    • Housekeeping & Laundry Operations

    • Convention Management, Banqueting, and Events

      This module provides opportunities to students to develop specialist event management knowledge and understanding, Gain an appreciation of the essential information and skills students need to be successful working in organisations operating in the conference, events and banqueting sectors.

    • Innovative Hospitality Models

      The student can develop a tourism business idea using different business areas. The student can create new brands that provide different experiences for tourism customers. The student recognizes the potential for success based on market and customer research.

    Second Semester


    • 3 Months Internships - Independent Study

      Integrated business project/dissertation off-campus / Final project report based on the independent study during your Switzerland or abroad internship in the hospitality Industry with tutor support.

    • Tourism Management

      This unit aims to introduce students to the concept of international tourism and the main tourism activities in an international context. The course puts a lot of emphasis on the freedom of students to get knowledge from different sources, to deepen their understanding and explore the concept of international tourism.
    • Creative Management

      This unit aims to enable students to think and demonstrate justice about values ​​and educational concepts in individual, group and group contexts. The module is designed according to the following aspects of nature: 1. Individual creativity 2. Team creativity 3. Creativity within organisations.

    • Management of Heritage Tourism

      The aim of the module is to acquaint students with the nature, function and management of heritage tourism around the world. The module focuses on the management of heritage tourism, one of the main areas of the tourism industry, which can include tourist attractions such as castles, parks, heritage sites, military bases , creative sites and many other sites built specifically for them to be able to. attract visitors or have changed to accommodate visitors.
